Bluff – ‘50/50’

Shoegaze four-piece band hailing from Manchester Bluff are flying to the top of the upcoming radar – after playing successful gigs for Scruff Of The Neck and This Feeling, their brand new, highly anticipated track ‘50/50’ is a psychedelic dream that consists of jangly guitar licks, smooth drum beats and hypnotising vocals. If this tune was to end up anywhere, it would be on one of them cool ‘Driving to the beach’ playlists. It’s a happy and a delight to the ears.

Conflare – ‘Afterglow’

Sharing stages with the likes of Idles and YONAKA, Conflare, a band of emo angst lads are presenting their fast-paced punk tune ‘Afterglow’ as their next single. It’s full of energy, combined with the distorted guitar sounds, Conflare have created the perfect arena-ready song that will get the moshers grooving and stomping. This group of four are destined for sold out shows with their music.

Charity Stow – ‘Fool’

Nottingham based singer/songwriter; Charity Stow recently released single ‘Fool’. It’s incredibly beautiful and serene. For Stow, singing and song writing is a form of therapy and it’s evident in her music – it’s flawless and honest and the lyrics tell a narrative, it’s a perfect story. She channels her emotions and feelings and scribbles her pen onto paper and comes out with a divine, soulful, happy experience. ‘Fool’ is a calming, breathtaking release this wonderful woman.

Behold The Brave – ‘Peaches’

Being described as a “rock group”, Behold The Brave, the Tennessee group of four are far from perceived as just that on their newest release ‘Peaches’. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, a peachy, fun track that oozes with funk and springy sounds. This pop-tastic tune drips with slick guitar solos and wacky vocal sounds which are monotonous and auto-tuned but it’s a perfect release for this heatwave right now.

Featured Track of the Week

Jack Cattell – ‘Shout To The Top’

Jack Cattell is an uprising superstar and a well-known name in the Midlands music scene. Releasing funky music and creating an all-round fantastic vibe with his tunes and presence, he’s been having some serious fun throughout lockdown creating his very own “lockdown sessions” and while he gets creative with the videos, you cannot help but smile every time he posts one of his cover videos. Our very own Dan requested for Cattell himself to do a cover of ‘Shout To The Top’ by Style Council, he infused it with lots of bounce and spirit and raw vocals. Jack Cattell is one to watch because he’s ready to take over the world.
